Full and B week vegetable, fruit, cheese and ready-to-eat shares: 
Distribution will be Wednesday, 7/19, from 5pm – 8pm at First Presbyterian Church (124 Henry St.) Distribution will be, weather permitting, outside to the right of the church. If not, it will be in the front entryway of the church.

We are planning for a film screening and discussion in the next few weeks – want to help plan it?  Email us asap!  It will count towards your volunteer requirement.

If you have not signed up for your volunteer shifts, please do so! Please remember to bring your own bags and be mindful to take what is allotted for each share.

This week’s vegetables:
1 bunch Multi-Color Beets, 1 bunch White Onions (3 pc), 2 heads Green Oak Leaf Lettuce, 1 bunch Swiss Chard, 1 bulb Kohlrabi, 2 heads Baby Bok Choy, 3 Cucumbers, 3 ears Corn, 1 bunch Parsley

Ready to Eat Share:
Cucumber Salad + Blueberry Bread + Iced Mint Tea

Fruit Share:
1 pint Blueberries + 1 bunch Rhubarb

Cheese Share: 
Chaseholm Farms ‘Moonlight’

Chaource Style a slightly aged, bloomy rind cheese whose white rind just conceals the ash layer beneath. Quick to ripen; Moonlight has a tart and firm chevre style center in its youth, but as it ages, ripening from the outside in, the pate sweetens taking on an ever more delicate body and creaminess. An ash layer beneath the bloom has characteristics of a goat’s milk St Maure, though made here with cows milk. Pair with salted almonds and honey.
